IMO rulings on sulphur

. SECA areas : which will be renamed ECA ( Emission Control Areas)- fuel oil will be lowered from the current 1.5% to allow just 1 % as from March 1, 2010.

. Outside ECA the global cap for sulphur has to come down from its present level of 4.5% to 3.5%, starting January 1, 2012.
